GIFEW Constellation of Extraordinary Women

The Constellation of Extraordinary Women (COEW) is a unique global network that exists to connect and empower women thinkers, leaders and experts who are committed to living a life of purpose, service and personal fulfilment, and who are dedicated to establishing a legacy that positively impacts global change.

Purpose

The Constellation of Extraordinary Women (COEW) is designed to nurture, magnify and unleash women’s full potential—in their personal and family lives, in their careers or at work, within their businesses or organisations, and in their leadership roles, whether in the home, or on a local, national or global stage—so that women at every level globally are equipped to make a powerful, positive impact on our world that is both revolutionary and sustainable.

As a global network, COEW taps into widely diverse expressions of women’s power, and their vision for themselves, their families and loved ones, as well as for their communities and the world.  COEW is committed to supporting, nurturing and leveraging each woman’s growth, potential, development and learning, so that as she participates within the Constellation, she is fully empowered to move forward in building her legacy and fulfilling her vision for and beyond herself.

Key Principles

We have developed powerful processes for how we work with women in the Constellation to translate COEW’s  vision and purpose into a reality that is both concrete and measurable. Our processes are based on four key principles:

1. Action and results

Transformation of the planet is not possible without action. As such, the Constellation goes beyond the remit of many networks that provide for like-minded people to meet, talk and share ideas. COEW’s innovative programme of connecting, matching and developmental education provides a powerful platform for women to collaborate with each other to take powerful actions individually and collectively that produce measurable results in the real world.

2. Relationship "Matching"

COEW’s tailored programme connects carefully matched clusters of women, forging high-quality, highly effective and highly productive relationships between those women. Deeply connected by a common purpose, each woman in the cluster—whether she is a leading expert in the field, has some knowledge, or is a novice—is empowered to make the contribution to which she is committed, by bringing to bear her passion, talent and skills on actions that are focused on bringing about transformation in the area of the group’s common purpose.

3. Personal Fulfilment

4. Work as Pleasure

We believe that when operating at this level, people undergo a shift in their experience of work and other committed activities—from obligation, necessity or a means to an end, to one of pleasure, joy, and fulfilment. Such women continue to develop and express their potential, creating a virtuous circle of growth in personal fulfilment and impactful individual and collective action, and contribution to the world.

 COEW believes that actively nurturing and empowering women globally is vital to bringing about this new balance and harmony, transforming the way humans interact and operate, what we prioritise, and how we resolve the many pressing issues facing the planet today.

How the Constellation Works?

I. Quality of Women

COEW aims to build a network that inspires, develops, accelerates, promotes, leverages and expands the local and global contribution, action and results of women.  Integral to how the Constellation works is our in-depth understanding of the needs of the women we work with, as well as our ability to assess where they are in relation to the contribution they are committed to making and the level of personal fulfilment they experience in their lives.

We understand this diversity—and commonality—of women who form the Constellation. We understand the multiplicity of their levels of education, development, growth and personal, professional and contribution achievement. COEW identifies three main categories of ‘Stars’ within the Constellation; women are broadly able to identify themselves as being closest to one of these categories:

  • Awakening Stars

    women who are discovering their purpose, passion and talents and are committed to their growth, development and action in these areas (such women may be actively producing results in their work, career or business, and yet notice they remain unfulfilled);
  • Rising Stars

    women who are clear about their purpose, passion and talents, and are already taking actions to move forward in producing results in these areas;
  • Shinning Stars

    women who are recognised leaders in their area of contribution, who are living their purpose and actively building their legacy; women who are reference points for others.

Independent of where a woman is in relation to the above three categories, a woman may also be anywhere on a continuum with regard to operating effectively in three key areas:

Self to Self:  women who are effective in creating and living a life that fulfils them personally, a life they love that vitalises them and brings them pleasure;

Self to Community: women who serve at community level, who act on their commitment to contribute through projects at local level;

Self to the World: women whose contribution and service has national or global impact, whether they receive public recognition or not.

II. Connection and Education

By analysing the information gained from the above assessments, we are able to discern where women are strong, as well as identify in detail their areas for development. COEW’s tailored programme that develops, balances and optimises all aspects of women’s lives is based around two key pillars:

Connection

COEW forges high quality connection or relationship matching based on assessing the talents, passion and purpose of women and creating links with other women who are aligned with that passion and purpose. At the same time, COEW’s matching allows for diversity among the women in all other respects, including diversity of talent, which opens up new possibilities for groundbreaking innovation across age ranges, nationalities, professions, faiths, cultures and geographical locations.

This model of collaboration, which leverages shared values and diversity, empowers women in all categories—Awakening, Rising or Shining Stars—in new ways to contribute to and learn from each other, develop new skills, create new, radical projects and build innovative teams, whilst working together to achieve common goals to which all are committed.

Wherever women may be on their journey, empowerment by high quality, aligned connection and collaboration inspires and shifts everyone to the next level—of greater contribution, living purposefully and building a legacy.

Education

The second pillar of COEW’s service in this area is to make recommendations to women who are part of the Constellation, of the best and most appropriate educational programmes, whether transformational or skills-based, depending on women’s needs.

COEW’s curriculum is both flexible and tailored. It is also focused on developing women in each of the three specific Star categories, and also on moving them through the categories, so that women achieve their full potential in a way that integrates harmony and sustainability.

Further aspects of our curriculum involve developing women in three areas:

  • Personal

    including confidence, personal well-being, ability to take responsibility, resilience, and self-knowledge;
  • People

    including ability to inspire others, communication, leadership, empathy and ability to deliver through teams;
  • Action

    including ability to reliably act and produce results, track-record, commitment and drive, level of contribution, and clarity about purpose.

 COEW believes that actively nurturing and empowering women globally is vital to bringing about this new balance and harmony, transforming the way humans interact and operate, what we prioritise, and how we resolve the many pressing issues facing the planet today.
